Specific treatment plans are customized for each patient. The treatment depends upon the specific injury, disorder or condition diagnosed. Treatment may include physical therapy, pain management, biofeedback or surgical intervention.

The Ortho Trauma Center surgeons are experts in performing minimally invasive surgery. Smaller incisions, a hallmark of minimally invasive surgery, lead to faster recovery times, smaller scars and less pain.

Sacroiliac Joint Conditions
Our team treats complicated cases of sacroiliac joint pain, including injections, radiofrequency ablation and fusions.
Osteomyelitis (Bone Infections)
Our Ortho Trauma Center Tream has a special interest in treating patients with bone infections.
Non-Unions, Difficult Fractures and Major Geriatric Trauma
As a Level 1 Trauma Center, the University of Toledo Medical Center is prepared to treat the most severe fracture cases. Once medical stability is achieved, the Ortho Trauma Center team performs a complete assessment plan. The plan includes a full continuum of care, including a comprehensive rehabilitation program administered by the University of Toledo Medical Center.
