Welcome to the UT Health Menopause Clinic
Real solutions for women managing menopause
Nearly three-quarters of American women experience mild to severe difficulties as a result of hormonal changes during their menopausal years. For some women, the physical and mental changes associated with menopause disrupt daily living to a nearly unbearable degree. The good news is, many treatment options are now available — and the UT Health Menopause Clinic is here to help.
The first of its kind in Northwest Ohio, this clinic will help women find relief from the many treatable symptoms of menopause. Treatment options include hormonal and non-hormonal therapies, prescription drugs and herbal options.
Appointments are 45 minutes and include a consultation, physical exam and possible bone test scans, depending on the patient's age. All patients will receive written literature to take home.
Dr. Terry Gibbs discussed the Menopause Clinic on WTOL 11.
