Patient experiences that embody the principles of iCare at UT Medical Center

  • "My uncle was brought by ambulance into the emergency room late one night. He is 86 years old, and he means the world to me. The care he received was outstanding. The nurse and doctor worked with him for several hours. Both of them explained what they were doing and did it with tender loving care. He spent several days in the hospital but I will never forget the way he was treated in the ER."
  • "The welcoming smiles, dignity and compassion shown to me by the staff made the daily regime during recovery more bearable. I'll miss all of you but I am so grateful to be done. Hopefully we will meet again … under better circumstances."
