A Rehabilitation system treating a variety of conditions... The University of Toledo Medical Center rehabilitation services provides an overall continuum of rehabilitation services. Programs include an acute inpatient rehabilitation unit and comprehensive outpatient therapy services.
The rehabilitation programs have a history of providing rehabilitation expertise to individuals with a variety of conditions, resulting in recognition by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), the accrediting body of rehabilitation facilities.
UTMC was the first rehabilitation program in the Toledo area to hold CARF accreditations for adults and children ages 12 and up for the following:
- Brain Injury Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs (Adults and Children ages 12 and up)
- Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs - Hospital (Adults and Children ages 12 and up)
- Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs - Hospital (Stroke Specialty Programs)
- Spinal Cord System of Care (Adults and Children ages 12 and up)
